Have not tested for functionality. The game "Through the Looking Glass" (initially named "Alice" but changed because the name was already in use by a database program) was developed by Steve Capps, a key member of the Lisa and Macintosh computer development teams. It was released by Apple Computer in 1984, and to this day it remains the only game ever written and published directly by Apple. The player controls Alice on a 3D perspective chess board.
The packaging for this game was designed by Steve Jobs. The packaging is a fabric covered box made to look like a hardcover book. On the inside of the packaging, instructions are printed on the left side of the cover, and a recess for the 3.5 disk containing the game is on the right side. The disk also contains 2 other programs written by Steve Capps: an on-screen clock screensaver that morphs digits as time passes, and "Amazing, " a program that builds complex mazes a user can solve by dragging the mouse. This would be a great addition to an Apple / Macintosh lover's collection or gift to a collector.
Due to lack of hardware, disk has not been tested for functionality.
