Hayes Chronograph tested, working, with manual and schematic
From the same company that made Hayes modems, this device is a real-time clock/calendar for use with microcomputers and minicomputers. It is accessed through a serial port at 300 baud. As you can see from the terminal session, it works and can be set to today's date (not blocked at 2000).

It is a sought-after collector's item. This was regularly used somewhere in the 1980s, and I bought it secondhand and have only used it for brief periods.

I've just given it a complete checkout and have replaced the AA cells that serve as backup. In addition to the Hayes manual, I include a schematic diagram (from Bitsavers, with the graphics somewhat touched up for legibility) and some "quick start" notes. The item "Hayes Chronograph tested, working, with manual and schematic" is in sale since Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
