Not sure how these reached North Carolina; however, these are the employee gift wine goblet set given to employees in December 1982 in celebration of Apple Computers reaching a Billion Dollar annual revenue run rate. These come in the original packing, with the original slide on cover. The cover is a little worn from storage over the years; however, the packing and more importantly the wine stems are in great shape. The stems look as if they've never been used; no chips, cracks, or hazing. The inscription on the box from A.
(Mike) Markkula, employee number 3 behind Jobs and Woz, explains a great deal about these stems. The enclosed wine goblets have been designed especially for the employees of Apple Computer to commemorate our company's achieving a ONE BILLION DOLLAR sales rate.
